Nice restaurant and bar with plenty of patio seating by the lake. The BBQ food was very good as were our drinks. Only area that could use improvement is there are no wait staff, so you have to get up and order at the bar. Also, they advertised a large menu of hard seltzer flavors, but were out of all of them. Otherwise, this place was great. The ice cream inside the store was good too. I highly recommend!

How fun! We have been to CG hooks many times in the past and always wanted to rent a pontoon. We rented a 3 hour rental today and had such a blast!!! It was very easy to reserve and getting situated was a breeze. The dock workers were super friendly. We were off in no time and enjoyed the 3 hours in the water and the lily pad we rented from them. 3 hours went by way too fast so next time we will do a couple more. We loaded up our car and headed back for dinner and drinks. What an amazing day and we will be back next year to rent a pontoon again! I had a cocktail and we all had the pulled chicken quesadillas. So good!

We rented a fishing boat. It was awesome, very slick process getting and brining back the boat. The times we wanted were available, and parking was close. Would definitely recommend. We rented again: I rented a pontoon this weekend and it was amazing. I ordered food and it was delivered to the pontoon. Food was great and everyone enjoyed the experience. I would suggest at least 4 hours on the pontoon bc wbl has a lot of fun places to go. The pontoon has Bluetooth so come ready with your best play mix.

First time at Tallys and overall great time! Perfect spot on the lake and parking was easily found even on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I assume summer would be much harder though. We needed to seat ourselves, which required about a 5 minute wait, and then order food/drink at the bar. Food came out quick (tacos and brisket sandwiches) and was really good! We were pleased all around and will be back!

Tally's is a great place for a drink overlooking White Bear Lake. Haven't tried the food yet, but a future check-in should cover that. The owner also owns Two Silo Winery . We stopped at Tally's for a quick drink after learning that, and we're pleased to find his wines on the menu.

Oh me oh my!!! This has to be the best BBQ restaurant on White Bear Lake! Lord have mercy. Parking the 40ft yacht was a breeze, and the patio is one of the best in the twin cities metro. 3rd patio I’ve visited during the 2025 TCPS (Twin Cities Patio Season), and it’s definitely top 3. BYO Bowl with rice and chicken?! Sent me to cloud 30 and back. 3 Kona’s later and I’m thinking I’m in Missouri with how good this BBQ was. 9.10/10.00 PS: ordered the naked PP during pride month for my LGBTQ friends. Might be one of them now

Wow, I am putting this place as my top 3 BBQ places in MN. I ordered the rib plate meal, sausage, and brisket (fatty). Everything was so tender and had that amazing smokey flavor. And their spicy BBQ sauce is a drug, because I dipped everything in it, including the cornbread!
